Are there any prohibited items I can’t ship with your road freight transport to Slovakia?

At the moment, you can’t ship any restricted or prohibited items with our road freight services to Slovakia, including any hazardous or dangerous goods, such as explosives, radioactive or flammable materials, weapons, narcotics, or certain chemicals. In case, you’re not sure if your shipment contains any questionable items, we advise you to check with our logistics experts before booking road freight to or from Slovakia.

How much does shipping freight to Slovakia cost?

It all depends on how much you want to send and which service you select. As a general rule, pallet delivery is less expensive and is mostly used by businesses shipping 1-5 pallets per time and sharing costs with other senders. In case you need to ship more, express van delivery or FTL transport can be a better and faster option, as there is no space sharing and your cargo travels directly from collection location to the delivery destination.

‍

Can you arrange a flexible pick-up for my small freight shipment to Slovakia?

At Van Express, we always make our best to follow your business requirements. No matter if you have a small freight shipment or an entire truck load, our logistics experts will always tailor your road freight shipping to Slovakia and propose you a service that suits your needs most.

Yes, you can, but please have in mind that a collection on a Saturday, Sunday or a holiday comes with some additional charges, as our road freight services to Slovakia operate from Monday to Friday on a regular basis.

Will the road freight carrier call before pick-up and delivery in Slovakia?

The road freight carrier will notify the shipper and receiver by email, text message or call in both pick-up and delivery countries. When placing your order, you will have to provide the contact information of the sender and recipient of the shipment. Double-check these details to ensure they are precise to avoid any delays or other unnecessary issues.
